There are very few places on this earth that can claim to have seen my dance floor moves and Art Bar is among them (and that place in Greece back in '86). Did anyone recognize the name Jimi Haha from October 2001? He's the dude with Jimi's Chicken Shack. I saw them in concert a few years ago at the greenville airport hangar and they rocked! I thought it was neat that he wrote here.

I recently had the great pleasure of hanging out at The Art Bar on 22Nov01, while back home on my Thanks Giving holiday. It made feel at home, since I am a writer and old school club kid who now likes the alternative. The music was all that and the decor off the chart. I would like very much to know the names of the artist who's work was on exhibit. Particularly the Portraits which to me resembled the face of the Statue of Liberty. Are they for sale? Let an artist know.

You don't have to dress a certain way to hang out with us Goths. My place burnt down and I lost all of my clothes before I started hanging out with the very freindly Gothic community here in Columbia. They accepted me for who I am, a nice guy who was looking to hang with other interesting and eccentric people. On the contrairy I think that the average everyday person is the one who buys clothes to fit in. We do not. Tonight I wore Japanese Samurai Hakama pants and nice velvet shirt with intricate lace designs. I liked it. And I don't give a fuck if no one else does. If they judged people according to what they wear (like you obviously do) I would have drove out to town to hang with another community. |
