|SEPTEMBER 20 - OCTOBER 17|
“My artistic motivations now more than ever are focused on the importance of following intuition regardless of growing pains. I’ve used painting as an outlet in the past with music or simple sounds as the creation’s catalyst. Lately I’ve been drawn to other avenues of expression, exploring different subject matters such as the human figure and the power of words, symbols, and pure intention.”|

|Godzillafications by Sean McGuinness|
"It's the Godzillafication of Art Bar! History shows again and again how Godzilla shows up in the art of men! Come enjoy local artist Sean "Shin-Goji" McGuinness's first gallery showing! Nominated for the 2012 Contemporaries Artist of the Year at the Columbia Museum of Art, Shin-Goji wants to infect you with his vinyl madness as he uses a digital artistic vision with his personal collection of Godzilla toys to create original art and Godzillafied versions of famous historical pieces. Monster fights will be playing on the big screen while you view one of the more unique visions in Columbia. Cosplay is encouraged!"|

|Mollie Williamson's Bar Flies/Barf Lies|
From the artist:
"I'm having an art show (my first ever)! Watercolor & magic marker portraits of jerks you know from around town. There will be sick jams playing, & you can drink yourself stupid. All art is $20 - even you can afford that!"

|Lucas Sams' ARTpocalypse NOW!|
"Sams graduated from the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, studied at Temple University’s Tokyo campus, and currently has a studio in the Tapp’s Art Center. He combines acrylic, oil, enamel, gouache, and wax with a myriad of nontraditional materials, including dead animals, bodily fluids, ants, leaves, shampoo and other personal care products, other oganic material, found objects, et al. As a result, his paintings often decay, which conceptually enhances his work, reflecting the ephemerality of the material world. This show will feature paintings based on images from the Book of Revelation."|
